Branded boxes are packaging designed as a brand asset rather than a container: consistent colour, typography and logo placement applied across every format a customer encounters, so the package is recognisable before any text is read.

  • One colour standard, every substrate. Physical draw-downs per board so kraft, coated and recycled all read as your brand.
  • Interior print at low cost. The inside liner prints in the same pass on corrugated — highest-attention surface, lowest marginal cost.
  • Consistent panel system. Logo placement and clear space defined once and applied across formats.
  • Restraint that scales. Simple one- and two-colour systems stay affordable as volumes grow.

What are branded boxes?

Recognition comes from consistency, not from more graphics. A single brand colour applied to the same panel position across a mailer, a carton and a shipper is far more memorable than three different full-bleed designs. This is why disciplined brands often print less on their packaging, not more.

Colour is the hardest part to hold consistent because substrates differ. The same Pantone prints noticeably warmer on kraft than on coated SBS, and slightly duller on uncoated recycled board. Matching to a physical draw-down per substrate — rather than one digital reference — is what keeps a brand looking like one brand.

Interior branding is the most under-used lever. On corrugated mailers the inside liner prints in the same pass for very little extra cost, and that surface is what the customer sees at the highest-attention moment of the whole purchase.

Branded Boxes: styles and constructions

The construction decides how the box closes, how much it protects and what it costs. These are the formats we produce most often for branded boxes.

Logo-only kraft box

One-colour logo on natural kraft; the highest-restraint, lowest-cost option.

Full-colour branded mailer

Exterior and interior print in a single pass.

Brand-colour flood box

Solid brand colour across all panels for instant recognition.

Branded system across formats

Consistent colour and logo placement on mailer, carton and shipper.

Materials

White E-flute
Truest colour reproduction for exact brand matching.
Kraft corrugated
Natural base; brand colours print warmer and need substrate proofing.
SBS coated board
Highest ink holdout for retail cartons in the same system.
Uncoated recycled
Matte natural look; expect measurable dot gain versus coated stock.

Popular branded boxes sizes

Every order is cut to your interior dimensions — these are the sizes customers request most often, and a useful starting point if you are not sure where to begin.

How to choose branded boxes

  1. Fix colour before you fix layout

Approve a physical draw-down on each board you will use. Screens lie about colour.

  2. Print less, place it consistently

The same mark in the same position beats three different full-bleed designs.

  3. Use the interior

It is the surface customers look at longest and one of the cheapest to print.

  4. Document the standard

Board, coating, Pantone and placement written down means reorders stay identical.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I keep my brand colour consistent across different boxes?
Match to a physical draw-down on each production substrate rather than one digital reference. The same Pantone prints warmer on kraft than on coated SBS and duller on uncoated recycled board; approving per-substrate is what keeps the system looking unified.
Is it cheaper to print one colour or full colour?
On flexographic corrugated runs, one or two spot colours are substantially cheaper because each colour needs a plate. On digital runs full colour costs the same as one colour, so at low volume there is no saving in restraint — only a design argument for it.
Does printing the inside of a box cost much more?
On corrugated mailers, very little — both liners print in the same pass. On glued cartons and rigid boxes the interior is a separate operation and is priced separately.
What is the minimum order for branded boxes?
100 units per size and artwork on digital production, which lets you brand a format before committing to volume printing.
Should my shipping boxes be branded too?
It depends on channel. Branded shippers build recognition in transit, but plain shippers reduce theft risk for high-value goods and cost less. Many brands run branded mailers and plain outer shippers.
Can you match packaging to my existing brand guidelines?
Yes. Send your brand guidelines with Pantone references, logo files and clear-space rules, and we will build the dieline and colour standard against them, then confirm with a proof before production.
